In 2009 Robin made his dream come true and moved from Vienna to London. It all happend very quickly, and it took him a while to realise, he actually did what he was hoping to do for about two years.
But as the months go by he had to see, that he wasn't living in the city he loved after all. He was working there. The never ending days in his office made him miss the sun and daylight.
Until he met this guy David, who set his heart on fire. Robin fell within minutes. And all of a sudden, David was Robins new sunlight. Who needs Vitamin D?
Everything seems alright at first, but things start to change after the first month of their relationship.
When we open the book, we find Robin in one of the most depressing times he's ever gone through. A world in ruins, just because of his affection for one boy.
This is a book about catching the last raindrops long after the storm is over.
Robin believes that anybody can live the life of their dreams.
We just need to learn how to live with nightmares.

"It's not often that an autobiographical work begins with a suicide
note, or what reads like one. Wow, Robin knows how to grab
attention. Is it a suicide note? We won't know for another 200-
odd pages. We quickly realize that the start of the book is near
the end of the story. But before we can go forward, we have to go
backward. Then forward. Then backward. Then ....
Robin very cleverly keeps us jumping forward and backward in time
through a series of blog entries, SMS text messages, memories and
comments about the approximately eight months in question. It's a
good thing, because the intensity of some parts of the story begs
for a break to talk about something else. But soon we want to get
back to the main story, the love story, the young gay love story,
the boy who could not be forgotten, even if he should. It's the
21st Century, and we have all this new technology - Facebook,
Twitter, blogs, SMS - all these new ways to argue with our
boyfriends and girlfriends. (How did couples ever fight without
these?) But in the end, the other person is the master of his or
her own heart.
Many of us have been where Robin takes us. But few in the modern
era have recorded it so thoroughly and shared it so crisply."
