• This book is a breath of fresh air to use in my ESL classes. It is up-to-date and engaging about American culture. Adult students relate to the issues in the book and enjoy giving their opinions on the subjects. When students are relaxed and interested in a subject, it is much easier for them to practice speaking in English. All students like to share stories of their encounters with new people in the U.S. This book allows them a platform with which to begin. A very helpful teaching guide!

Well written-concise-practical. Highly recommend-emphasis on ‘learn your new language’, ENGLISH, the better to enjoy life in the country that welcomed you. Foreign accents allowed, just give English a try... you’ll like it👍🏻‼️
