- I bought this for my nine-year-old. She was having trouble doing her 20 minutes of reading time per night. So I figured to get her the one thing she was interested in the most. Now all she does is sit down and read this book over and over again even with her friends. I think it's great to give a child something that they really love to learn about and this book provides that. Albeit with a few words that are probably out of her range but she works past them with our help and she learns how to read something that isn't dr. Seuss Style. So if you're apprehensive or on the fence about buying this book for a younger child it seemed to work out pretty good for me. That and all the pictures work through the book pretty darn well. Very happy with my purchase and I will definitely look for other books by this publisher and author.
- This book is incredible. Loaded with beatiful, astonishing photos of every cat breed. It also contains advice on many topics of interests, like history of cats, how to feed, groom and care for your cat and many, many more. I have several good books about cats, but if I have to keep only one, this will be it!
- I found a copy of this at my local library and decided to buy after having a look. In spite of being a life long cat fan, I actually found out things about them I did not know. The breed section is an excellent reference for identification. Strongly recommend this book for any cat owner or anyone thinking of getting a cat.
- Great book. My kids 11,12,13,14 have their first cat. A lovely Sphynx named Violet. They love learning about her!
